Booking & Travel Assistance Due to Covid-19 Outbreak

Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 around the world, many travellers’ plans have been affected. Please review this entry for the latest updates and news that may affect you and how the Nekoya Cat Hotel seeks to assist you during this time.

Payment Policy

As we understand that government policies and travel restrictions may be enacted on short notice due to Covid-19, we are temporarily halting the acceptance of full payment for bookings online.

Customers seeking to make reservations for cabins may confirm payment for lodging arrangements at the point of check-in. This will help prevent the need for refunds in the event of cancellations.

Payment for cabins may be made via cash, or through QR code payment using PayLah!, PayNow, Grab Pay or NETS.

Cabin Cancellation Policy

We continue to offer complimentary cancellations on cabin bookings should they be received at least 7 days prior to your scheduled check-in date.

Requests for cancellations within 7 days to scheduled check-in dates will be issued refunds by way of store coupons.

If you are looking to postpone your trip instead of cancel it, our caretakers are happy to assist with modifications to your cabin dates at no additional cost.

Travel Waiver Policy

Customers travelling to the following countries or affected by internationally-imposed travel bans will be able to receive refunds via store coupons so long they have made a cabin booking with our hotels prior to 16 March 2020:

  • ASEAN countries
  • Mainland China
  • Hong Kong
  • Macau
  • Japan
  • South Korea
  • Italy
  • Germany
  • France
  • Spain
  • Iran

This list will continue to be updated on a regular basis.

All customers being issued store coupons will be provided a 1-year validity on them that may be extended depending on how the Covid-19 situation continues to evolve.
